Eric, remind the Michigan business community about the Wharton Center for Performing Arts?

You took over as Executive Director two years ago, what was your career path and what have been the highlights here, so far?

I understand you keep the Wharton Center connected to the Broadway theatre world in New York.

Can you speak to how we keep a strong pipeline of top shows coming to the region.

EAST LANSING, MI ― Tickets for Wharton Center’s 2024-2025 season will go on sale to the public on Tuesday, September 3, at 10AM. This public on-sale includes the incredible moves and music of MJ The Musical—the multiple Tony Awardâ winning musical centered around the marking of the legendary 1992 Dangerous World Tour—which is a part of the Broadway at Wharton Center Series supported by MSU Federal Credit Union.

The 2024–2025 season features two other Wharton Center debuts direct from NYC: the hilarious corny-comedy Shucked and the breathtakingly beautiful puppetry of Life of Pi. Experience a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit with Les Misérables and be razzle-dazzled with Broadway’s longest running musical Chicago. See what the noise is all about with STOMP, experience the 49th Anniversary Spectacular Tour of The Rocky Horror Picture Show featuring Barry Bostwick, and one of the greatest orchestras in the world—the London Philharmonic—in a program of Beethoven, Barber, and more.
