Observed each October, National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) celebrates the contributions of individuals with disabilities in our workplaces. This year we also celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, which protects the civil rights of people with disabilities.
NDEAM reminds us to showcase supportive, inclusive employment policies and practices that benefit employers and employees. That’s an effort Michigan Rehabilitation Services is dedicated to all year long. Learn more about what they do at Michigan.gov/MRS.
