Michigan Works! Association Brings Together Education, Business, and Policy Leaders to Explore AI in the Workforce

WHAT: The Michigan Works! Association will host its inaugural event, AI at Work: Today’s Tools, Tomorrow’s Workforce, on April 28–29. The two-day summit is designed for workforce, education, business, and policy leaders navigating the real-world impact of artificial intelligence on jobs, training, and talent systems.

The event will move beyond the hype surrounding AI to focus on practical, actionable applications of AI in workforce development. Attendees will explore how AI is already shaping talent pipelines, service delivery, labor market analysis, and organizational decision-making, and how to prepare workers for what’s next.

The Michigan Works! Association will also release phase one of their first-ever AI in the workforce report, completed in partnership with Lightcast.
