Todd Martin is a former Olympian and World No. 4-ranked tennis player whose career was defined by excellence, leadership, and impact. He reached the singles finals of both the 1994 Australian Open and the 1999 US Open and was a cornerstone of the U.S. Davis Cup team from 1994 to 2002—helping secure the championship in 1995.
Recognized by his peers for his integrity and insight, Martin served eight years as President of the ATP Tour Player Council, advocating for players and shaping the future of the sport. After retiring from professional play, he transitioned into coaching, mentoring U.S. Olympic Silver Medalist Mardy Fish and a young Novak Djokovic.
Martin’s post-playing career has been marked by visionary leadership. He served as CEO of the International Tennis Hall of Fame, Head of Tennis at Beemok Capital, and is the Founder and President of Todd Martin Tennis. In May 2025, he joined Swing Racquet + Paddle as Chief Strategy and Operations Officer, continuing his commitment to innovation in racquet sports.
Beyond the court and boardroom, Martin has made a lasting impact in his hometown of Lansing, Michigan. In 1993, he co-founded Todd Martin Youth Leadership, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering at-risk youth through tennis, education, life skills, and leadership development. For over 30 years, the organization has been a beacon of opportunity and growth for the community.
