Time: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Location: The Lansing Center in downtown Lansing.
Event details: The goal is to introduce Michigan high school students to high-demand, high-wage jobs in the Lansing area. Over 3,000 students will be introduced to 70 industry exhibitors through this hands-on career readiness event. Industries students will explore: Engineering, manufacturing, and industrial technology. Business, information technology, arts, and communication. Health sciences and human services. Natural resources and agriscience.
Capital Area Michigan Works! and its T3: Teach. Talent. Thrive. council, a network of connected assets supporting education and talent development, is hosting the MiCareerQuest Capital Area to introduce Michigan high school students to high-demand, high-wage jobs in the Lansing area. This is the first time the event has been hosted since 2019 due to COVID-19 restrictions.
