Brad Holstad, owner/operator, Crossroads Outdoor, in Eaton Rapids, Michigan, drops by the studio. He and Chris discuss the business of helping businesses. Brad shares his career history in various media outlets and media sales. Outdoor advertising is his passion.
They review some of the challenges seen in that industry over the past decade or so; going into some of the permit requirements. Growth is coming through acquisitions for Crossroads Outdoor Advertising, they review the innovation seen through digital messaging on today’s newer billboards. Brad also explains how the digital platform tends to operate in Michigan. Specifically, in the past 18 months his company has gone from 1 to 6 of these digital billboards, along with increasing from 525 to 650 “faces.” They wrap up by noting that these billboards can also step into the public good by relaying “Amber Alerts.”
