The following is a letter from Mark McDaniel, the founder of Pancake Paloozaa
The holiday season is a meaningful time to reflect on what truly matters. As we gather with family and friends, I am reminded how fortunate we are to have a safe place to call home and how many families are still working toward that same stability.
I am excited to once again return as a Star Server for the annual Haven House Pancake Palooza in 2026! This upcoming event marks my 14th year supporting this mission, and together over the years we have raised $282,000 to help families facing homelessness in our community.
The Need Is Still Great
So far in 2025, Haven House has provided shelter to 131 children in 58 families. But we know the need is still urgent — 1 in 18 children experience homelessness by the age of six. Your support can change that.
