Washington DC National Airport to TVC and Philadelphia to TVC
(Traverse City, Michigan) – Cherry Capital Airport is pleased to announce that American Airlines is expanding its seasonal summer schedule by offering two additional nonstop flights; Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) to and from TVC and, Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) to and from TVC. TVC Airport officials and American Airlines are working together to make it easier for customers traveling from the Washington DC area and eastern part of the United States to the Traverse City Region. Each non-stop route will offer weekend service on Saturdays beginning early June. Flights will be loaded to the www.AA.com website beginning November 25, 2019. The aircraft used for both service routes is an Embraer E175s seating 76 passengers.
In addition to the new Washington Reagan and Philadelphia service routes American
Airlines also offers customers convenient non-stop service Traverse City year-round from
Chicago O’Hare and seasonally from Charlotte, Dallas/Fort Worth and New York LaGuardia
(LGA).
On the heels of many accolades and features, including being home to the nationally
acclaimed Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lake Shore and the return of the world class Ironman
event, northern Michigan is the perfect destination for those inbound who enjoy the outdoors;
