BENTON HARBOR, Mich. — Youth Solutions, a non-profit organization at the intersection of education and workforce development, proudly announces the appointment of Laura Preuss Ph.D. and Jessica Boshnyak to its Board of Directors, effective immediately.
 
 “We are thrilled to welcome Laura and Jessica to the Youth Solutions Board of Directors,” said Roger Curtis, Executive Director of Youth Solutions. “Their extensive experience in workforce development, talent strategy, healthcare operations, and organizational leadership will bring valuable perspectives to our board. As we continue to expand opportunities for young people across Michigan, their expertise and commitment to building strong systems and pathways to success will help strengthen our mission and impact.” 
 
As Director of Talent Initiatives at the Michigan Manufacturers Association, Laura Preuss leads efforts to strengthen workforce solutions and help employers build sustainable talent pipelines across Michigan. With a background spanning workforce development, adult education, and career and technical education, Laura is passionate about creating pathways that connect individuals to meaningful careers—a commitment that aligns directly with the mission of Youth Solutions. 
Jessica Boshnyak is Manager of Strategy & Operations at Corewell Health, where she leads strategic initiatives and operational projects that drive organizational improvement and enhance outcomes across the health system. With experience spanning healthcare administration, project management, and operations, Jessica is passionate about building strong systems and fostering collaboration to create meaningful impact for the individuals and communities she serves.

building systems that create opportunity. Their insights and leadership will help strengthen our efforts to ensure more young people across Michigan have the support, skills, and connections they need to achieve their goals and build bright futures.”

  • Jarrad Grandy, Executive Director of Student Services at Oakland Schools
  • Joya Harris, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Vicksburg Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM
  • Nolan Henson, a Jobs for Michigan’s Graduates Class of 2018 alumnus and Program Specialist at W.K. Kellogg Foundation
  • Vicky Kruslemsky, SPHR, Chief People Officer of Commonwealth Associates, Inc.
