The Vision for Junior Achievement in Southeastern Michigan

mth.jpgChris speaks with Margaret Trimer-Hartley, President & CEO, Junior Achievement of Southeastern Michigan, Detroit, Michigan. Trimer-Hartley share some of her vision for the future of JA (Junior Achievement) and the cities of Detroit and Flint. Their region encompasses 12 counties, inclusive of Genesee. It’s a role she has served in since January. Junior Achievement is an organization redefining itself, but staying true to its mission. Chris finds out about some of the organization’s vision and top priorities for this year. They also touch upon interaction with Detroit Public Schools, an issue which needs to be addressed; along with some specific programs being offered by JA to help prepare DPS students for their future.
