Meridian Township’s Director of Parks and Recreation LunAnn Maisner, joins us to discuss the name change of the “Celebrate Downtown Okemos” that has official changed it’s name to “Celebrate Meridian Township“. The event will be held on June 10th, with a 5K walk or run, and June 11th from 11AM to 11PM! A fantastic event with Music, Food and Beverage, Arts, Crafts, Business Expo, Kids inflatables, Fire Department, Fishing Derby, and lots, lots more.
LuAnn Maiser, of Meridian Townships Parks and Rec, continues with news of the event that has become much larger in size this year and will continue to grow and new property grown energizes the area. Look for Tavern and Tap to open a bar/restaurant, as well as the new Douglass J facilities, and other new business moving into the Meridian Township.
