GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Feb. 2, 2026 —Tickets are now on sale for CHIHULY at Meijer Gardens Presented by Macatawa Bank, a major indoor–outdoor exhibition opening to the public at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park May 2 and continuing through Nov. 1. Tickets can be purchased at MeijerGardens.org/tickets.

CHIHULY at Meijer Gardens marks the artist’s highly anticipated return to the campus for the first time since 2010. This year, the organization is spearheading two major exhibitions devoted to the artist: the most extensive Chihuly presentation in the institution’s history in Grand Rapids, and CHIHULY: Venice 2026 in Venice, Italy. The latter, presented in partnership with Pilchuck Glass School, celebrates the city that fundamentally shaped the artist’s career.

“Our much-anticipated exhibition in Grand Rapids brings together world-renowned art and our extraordinary gardens in a way that will be unforgettable for guests who travel here from across the Midwest and beyond,” said Charles Burke, President & CEO of Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park. “Visitors will encounter Chihuly’s iconic color, light, and movement in dialogue with the living beauty of our landscapes and indoor galleries. It’s an experience designed to inspire repeat visits throughout the seasons and fresh discovery upon every visit.”

A CAMPUS-TRANSFORMING INDOOR–OUTDOOR EXPERIENCE

CHIHULY at Meijer Gardens will feature thousands of handblown forms placed among 12 outdoor sites across the campus, integrating monumental installations throughout the Gardens and Sculpture Park.

Indoors, visitors will experience a rich survey spanning more than four decades of artistic evolution titled CHIHULY: Radiant Forms, including celebrated series such as BasketsMacchiaSeaformsPuttiIkebanaPersiansVenetiansCylinders, and Rotolo, along with related drawings.

Meijer Gardens’ long-standing relationship with Chihuly is also reflected in its permanent collection, which includes Dappled Silver Ikebana with Trio of Gilded Pink StemsGilded Champagne Gardens Chandelier, and Lena’s Garden.

“Meijer Gardens has shared the evolution of Chihuly’s adventurous work over the last 25 years, presenting two previous exhibitions here and acquiring three of his major pieces for our permanent collection,” said Suzanne Ramljak, Vice President of Collections & Curatorial Affairs at Meijer Gardens. “We are excited to offer guests this rare opportunity to see a fuller range of Chihuly’s peerless creations and to immerse themselves in the splendor of his vision.”

TICKETS AND TIMED-ENTRY INTERIOR GALLERY EXPERIENCE

General admission to Meijer Gardens during the exhibition period includes access to the outdoor Chihuly installations featured throughout the campus.

A separate timed-entry ticket is required for the interior gallery experience, CHIHULY: Radiant Forms, which will feature an expanded presentation of Chihuly’s work within the indoor sculpture galleries.

Timed tickets are required for all guests for the interior gallery exhibition. Ticket prices for the interior Chihuly exhibit portion are $9 for the public ($5 for children ages 3-13) in addition to the general admission entry fee, and Meijer Gardens members receive a 10% discount on tickets for this special indoor exhibition. A limited number of timed tickets will be available for each time slot.

Tickets for both general admission and the timed interior gallery exhibition are available now at MeijerGardens.org/tickets or at the Daniel and Pamella DeVos Ticketing Center inside the Welcome Center during regular operating hours.

OPEN LATE ON SELECT NON-CONCERT EVENINGS

To complement the daytime experience, Meijer Gardens will remain open until 9 p.m. on select evenings when Fifth Third Bank Summer Concerts at Meijer Gardens are not scheduled. These evenings will offer a distinct evening atmosphere as glass, light, and landscape intersect across the grounds.

A detailed schedule of Open Late dates will be posted at MeijerGardens.org/CHIHULY once the 2026 concert lineup is announced in April. Advance timed tickets for the interior gallery experience will be required during Open Late hours and are strongly recommended for all evening visits due to anticipated demand.

CHIHULY at Meijer Gardens is made possible by Macatawa Bank, a Wintrust Community Bank, the Daniel and Pamella DeVos Foundation, the Family of Jack H Miller, Ken Bandstra and Ken Terpstra, Margy Kaye & Bill Padnos, the Louis & Helen Padnos Foundation, and the Tassell-Wisner-Bottrall Foundation.
