Clarence Garner, the Deputy Superintendent of the Grand Blanc School System, discusses and applies John Maxwell’s Five Levels of Leadership to the challenge of leading a school district.

Mr. Garner is passionate about leadership. He is the catalyst for recreating positive leadership in all the administrators in every school building within the district. “Everything rises and falls leadership.” Are there other components necessary for effectiveness, absolutely, but even when the other factors are in sync, institutions, businesses, schools, churches, teams never achieve like they could without strong, practical and principled leadership. The place where we are leading whether it be a classroom, a courthouse or community business, “everything rises and falls on leadership.”
