Rod Alberts joins us for the second half of this program. He is the executive director of both the Detroit Auto Dealers Association and the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). Rod is on the America’s Car Museum Steering Committee and he fleshes out “The Drive Home” project, talking about how it is integrated into the Detroit auto show.
He then gives us some hints and a preview of what we’ll see in January at the NAIAS, one of the five most important motor shows in the world. Much of the auto show is all new with over $200 million worth of fresh displays and a variety of new exhibitors at the show. Both Rod and David are lively and interesting interviewees. (By the way, A Shunpiker’s Journal host Steve Purdy will be driving three legs of “The Drive Home” with stories posted daily on TheAutoChannel.com beginning December 28.)
