Michiganders are proud of their state which offers a diverse culture, rich history and year-round adventure. It boasts 40+ skiing destinations to choose from, more than 4,000 miles of scenic hiking trails, a boating wonderland of 3,300 miles of Great Lakes shoreline, and so much more to do and appreciate. Michigan also promises strong career opportunities for workers and abundant resources to build a high-tech talent pipeline.
Attracting businesses, talented workers and population are high priorities for Michigan…still, the national competition is fierce. So how is Michigan striving to increase its stagnant population and attract and retain the next generation of workers?
Earlier today Detroit Public TV livestreamed the Detroit Economic Club’s panel discussion between Michigan’s Chief Growth Officer, Hilary Doe, Michigan Economic Development Corporation CEO Quentin L.
