(Flint, Mich., 4/24/2025) – Local sports fans should mark their calendars for May 17, 2025, for the Annual Flint & Genesee Vehicle City Soccer Classic held at Kettering University’s Historic Atwood Stadium. Six local high school teams will face off in regular-season matches starting at noon. Tickets are $5 at the gate and are also available for purchase at GOFan.co. Parking at the stadium is $5. Matchups include:
- 12 p.m. – Mattawan High School vs Grand Blanc High School
- 2 p.m. – Stony Creek High School vs Powers Catholic High School
- 4 p.m. – Hartland High School vs Davison High School
The three games will be capped off with the Flint City AFC’s season opener at 7 p.m. vs FC Pontiac. One ticket is valid for all four matches during the day.
