Retail Boot Camp Applications Close March 15
Retail Boot Camp is an intensive, hands-on, 10-week program that prepares serious entrepreneurs for the opening of their brick-and-mortar establishments in Detroit. The program curriculum is designed to strengthen businesses as they look to thrive in today’s retail environment.
TechTown is offering a final Info Session today at 6 p.m. for prospective applicants to learn more about the program and application process.
Retail Boot Camp has gained a reputation for supporting the launch of successful businesses in neighborhood commercial districts, including House of Pure Vin, Mama Coo’s Boutique, Plum Health, Voluptuous Bien’Aime Boutique, Urbanum, Flamingo Vintage Detroit, Mature, Mongers’ Provisions, and many more. Technical Assistance for Small Business Owners
TechTown Training Series is a comprehensive 12-month program that provides technical assistance for TechTown alumni as well as small business owners in Detroit, Highland Park and Hamtramck. Offered in an online library, the Training Series focuses on topics ranging from marketing to customer development, financial planning and human resources.
This month, Ellen Currin, a Detroit-based web developer and entrepreneur, will walk you through what it takes to launch a small business online and how to earn loyal customers. Are you struggling with tough questions like: What’s your brand? Who’s your audience? Why aren’t website visitors buying my products? Ellen will help you get to the bottom of those problems and find smart, cost-saving solutions so that your small business can succeed online.
