Chris caught up with Steve Arwood, CEO, MEDC, at the 2016 Mackinac Policy Conference. A cost effective four business days of to gather with a talented blend of people involved in politics, policy, business, and education from all over Michigan. The conference was optimistic in tone, however is dealing with issues such as managing talent. Michigan is looking to compete for new talent on the global level. Cybersecurity and the evolution of the mobility industry are also issues being looked at. They also review how infrastructure in the state will have to keep pace with that mobility industry, along with issues needing to be tackled in the insurance sector.
