“Officers Named for Statewide Tourism Organization” The Michigan Association of Convention & Visitor Bureaus (MACVB) recently named its officers for the 2025 calendar year. The newly elected officers are: President: Julie Pingston (Lansing) Vice President: Brad Barnett (Keweenaw) Secretary: Jen Sistrunk (South Haven) Treasurer: Bob Lukens (Muskegon) Directors at Large: Michael Hensley (Port Huron), Trevor Tkach (Traverse City), and Immediate Past President, Susan Estler (Marquette). Pingston (left) has served in various volunteer leadership roles with MACVB, most recently as the MACVB Treasurer, and is the President & CEO of Choose Lansing.. Pingston stated, “I am honored and excited to have been selected to serve as MACVB’s President for 2025. As an organization, we will work throughout the year to create opportunities for Michigan destinations through advocacy, partnership and collaboration to enhance the State’s economy. It’s going to be a busy year in the tourism and hospitality industry, and I look forward to the advancements we will make together.” MACVB is comprised of 51-member convention and visitor bureaus located throughout the State of Michigan.
