Chris spends time with David Smith, Director of Startup Grind Lansing, learning the background of the group which has spread internationally from San Francisco in the past five years, and started in Lansing this year.
David shares his experience with BitCoin, and how entrepreneurs in Las Vegas encouraged him to start these events in mid-Michigan. It’s a volunteer organization, meeting the third Thursday each month in East Lansing, where they bring in experienced entrepreneurs to share lessons learned with those just getting started. Thursday, July 16, their special guest is Matthew Roszak, of Tally Capital, out of Chicago.
