Jeffrey speaks with Dr. Michael Shingles, D.O. Medical Director Sparrow Sports Medicine regarding his career and how he got involved with Sparrow Hospital. He’s a Michigan State Alumni and has been around for about 15 years in the sports medicine. He speaks on the involvement with Sparrow and MSU sports medicine program.
He reviews the grassroots campaigns to help kids when it comes to sports injuries and the diagnosis of injuries. He speaks on concussion clinics that’s open to the public to help local area kids. He talks about the program that they’re working on with local high school coaches and in the community to help them become more aware of concussion type symptoms.
