LANSING, MI -As always, the community has shown incredible support for Sparrow, their patients, and caregivers. Sparrow Health System received generous donations of blankets for our smallest patients in our Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and specially made pillows for the comfort of our breast cancer patients at the Sparrow Herbert-Herman Cancer Center. About 100 blankets coming from employees of TechSmith, a leading local software company. Some 100 pillows are being donated by local Zonta Clubs to ease discomfort for recent mastectomy, lumpectomy, and other surgical patients.
Last Thursday these Blanket dropoffs occurrred at the front entrance of Sparrow Hospital, 1215 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. Pillow dropoff: Lobby of Sparrow Herbert Herman Cancer Center, 1140 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing.
