Sparrow IT Caregivers to Play Games for 24 Hours Straight for a Good Cause

maxresdefault-4

They’ll be bleary-eyed and exhausted but Sparrow IT caregivers plan to play the latest video games and old-fashioned console and board games for 24 hours to raise money for University of Michigan Health at Sparrow Children’s Center, part of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

The caregivers – in conjunction with the Sparrow Foundation — are participating in Extra Life, a gaming marathon that hopes to raise $30,000 this year.  Donations can be made at: https://www.extra-life.org/index.cfm?fuseaction=donorDrive.participant&participantID=517298#donate

There will be a room dedicated to board games, another dedicated to PC gaming, an area for cards games, Xbox, and more. The event runs from 8 a.m. Saturday to 8 a.m. Sunday.
