The topic for today is “Obamacare is Working … Or is it?” The Supreme Court decision last week supported Obamacare subsidies for people who have enrolled through the federal exchange. The controversial decision relying on the intentions of Congress rather than the straight forward wording that subsidies were available for exchanges established by the states, Obamacare seems to be working.
However, what data is available that provide support for the statement that it is working? How many people have enrolled? What are the numbers for those who have not enrolled? What are the costs? Are there improvements that still should be made to the law? Is the issue settled and should we now accept the law as is?
