The topic in Something to Think About is, “A Road Fix?” The long awaited legislation to provide funding for the roads was barely passed in the Senate and House last week and is expected to be signed by the Governor.
The fix was billed as providing $1.2 billion for the roads. But, when will the budget actually be $1.2 billion? Where are the resources coming from to provide the funding? Was it a clean bill just dealing with the roads? Was this bill the best we could do?
