WASHINGTON D.C. – U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI), Chairwoman of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, last Friday announced $23,800 for the City of Olivet to purchase a John Deere tractor with implements. This tractor will be used by the city’s park, road, and compost/nutrient reclamation programs. These funds come from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Community Facilities Direct Loan & Grant Program, secured by Senator Stabenow in the 2018 Farm Bill.

“Our local officials and public service employees work hard every day to make our communities better, safer places to live. This funding helps ensure that Olivet’s public service workers have the tools they need to do their jobs,” said Senator Stabenow.
