
New Openings; Social Gatherings Permitted
Governor Whitmer expanded on the list of businesses permitted to open statewide:
- Auto showrooms and retail establishments may open “by appointment only” beginning Tuesday, May 26.
- Medical, dental and veterinary offices can open for non-emergency services beginning Friday, May 29.

The governor has also allowed for social gatherings in groups with 10 or fewer, so long as social distancing guidelines are maintained.
