Changes to Handbook Statute of Limitations Clause You Should Know

A fairly common technical issue found in many employer handbooks is the use of what is called the limitation of actions clause. The limitation of actions clause is a term that sets a maximum length of time an employee agrees to bring a wrongful employment action claim, complaint, or lawsuit against the employer.

The Small Business Association of Michigan today applauded the COVID-19 recovery plan released by House Republicans focused on providing direct relief for Michigan’s small businesses struggling during the pandemic.

The Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA) gave us some last-minute fiscal relief, notably $600 stimulus checks for individuals and provisions for some hard-hit areas aimed at mitigating the continuing economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
