sba100

As a reminder, the current deadline for the SBA to approve Paycheck Protection Program loans is 11:59 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, June 30, and $128 billion remains available to assist small businesses and non-profits. With that, several PPP updates have been issued in the last few days we wanted to make sure you were aware of, including:

  • The re-launch of SBA’s Lender Match to connect those pandemic-affected small businesses and non-profits still looking to get a PPP loan with lenders
  • Detail on PPP loan transparency, noting the SBA and Treasury will release information on PPP loan recipients in various categories in the coming future
  • A June 22, 2020, updated Interim Final Rule revising the Loan Forgiveness and SBA Loan Review Procedures IFRs issued on May 22
  • An updated Paycheck Protection Program Report showing as of June 20, approximately 4.7 million PPP loans have been approved nationally and $128 billion remains available (when accounting for statutory program costs) to be approved in this last week. Great Lakes Region state and total PPP loan data is below, showing more than 697,000 small businesses and non-profits in the six states have been approved for PPP loans. This is an increase of 10,900 over the June 12, 2020, approvals for the region, reflecting expectations per the additional flexibility with the PPP.
