Ronald McDonald House of Mid-Michigan is partnering with Michigan McDonald’s restaurants to support caregivers at the Sparrow Children’s Center by dropping off dozens of beverage sleeves (with cups), bottled water (donated by Martin-Brower in St. Johns) and beverages (donated by Coca-Cola).
Tuesday, July 28, they did so from Parking Ramp D of Sparrow Hospital, 1215 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing. Enter and park in the ramp, located at the east end of the hospital.
This event is tied to McDonald’s “Sleeves for Support” campaign, a fundraiser for Ronald McDonald House Charities in which customers can purchase an insulated beverage sleeve for $5. Sparrow Children’s Center leaders and nurses will be present to accept this kind donation. Ronald McDonald Houses across Michigan help families with ill or injured children stay together with home-cooked meals, private bedrooms, fully equipped kitchens and laundry facilities near the medical care they need at leading hospitals
