The U.S. budget deficit remained near its lowest level in seven years in June amid a brightening economic outlook that has boosted revenues, the Treasury Department said.
Americans extended their choppy spending pattern last month, with outlays pointing to sustained-though far from stellar-momentum for consumption growth heading into the second half.
Worldwide PC shipments saw their sharpest decline in nearly two years in the second quarter of 2015, dealing continued damage to retailers and makers of computers, chips and PC software.
