Hollywood had its biggest year at the box office in 2015, thanks to a handful of blockbusters that left a whole lot of duds in the dust. But the runaway success of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” and “Jurassic World” raises questions about the overall health of the movie business.
With all the resources retailers have poured into e-commerce, more sales moving online this Christmas was a given. More surprising are the categories additional online spending is coming from. US e-commerce sales rose roughly 20% this year between Black Friday and Christmas Eve, says MasterCard SpendingPulse.
