Pure Michigan Business Connect (PMBC), the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD), and the MSU Product Center are partnering with Meijer to connect their market format stores (Bridge Street, Capital City, Rivertown, and Woodward Corner) to Michigan food and beverage suppliers through a local vendor event.

The event will include a presentation from Meijer market format store directors on how vendors can do business with their stores, resources available through the partner group (PMBC, MDARD, and MSU Product Center), and pre-scheduled 1:1 meetings with vendors and buyers/category managers.

PMBC’s Local Vendor Events have helped introduce nearly 50 Michigan small businesses to store directors, purchasers and inventory leads. Read about these success stories here.

This event will be held in Lansing in August and will be invite-only to include Michigan businesses that Meijer has selected for participation. Selected businesses will be notified with the specific date and location details.

Here’s a timeline of crucial dates related to this opportunity:

A vendor application for participation is required and available here.  Interested businesses should submit an application by July 15.
