pmbc-2

As Michigan continues to carefully re-engage its economy in phases over the coming weeks and businesses begin going through the process of resuming normal operations, the MEDC is building off the success of its virtual procurement platform to provide the Pure Michigan Business Connect COVID-19 Procurement Platform for businesses in need of non-medical grade supplies to help protect and support their employees following the outbreak. As required by Executive Order 2020-59, businesses that begin re-opening in the near future will be required to provide employees with non-medical grade PPE, including face masks, face shields, gloves, goggles and other materials as necessary to ensure the health and safety of their employees and customers. The PMBC COVID-19 Procurement Platform will work to connect those businesses in need of access to PPE with suppliers that may meet their demand.

The online portal is open to companies of all sizes and industries and is available for all scales of PPE demand, and can be accessed at www.michiganbusiness.org/ppe along with additional information on the program.
