They discuss the importance of dental health and the fact that oral health is connected to heart disease and diabetes. There is also an economic impact related to oral health, with a significant number of emergency room visits due to poor oral health.
Regular exams a couple of times a year can head off many problems. February is Children’s Dental Health Month and Delta Dental celebrated this in many different ways across the State, including performing a children’s health musical called, “I Need My Teeth.” Chris and Teri talk about the different resources for people to use:
