Oakland University State of the University Address
Every year we gather in the Oakland Center to hear President Ora Hirsch Pescovitz give an update on the state of Oakland University. Every year we enjoy seeing our corporate partners in person as we hear about the opportunities and challenges that face our university and the community around us. This year because of the pandemic, we offered this update virtually. Oakland University’s Art Gallery
The Oakland University Art Collection features over a thousand objects including African Art, Chinese Scrolls, ethnographic art, prints, and modern and contemporary paintings, works on paper, and sculpture. Visit the OU Art Gallery to get the latest information on upcoming exhibitions and events and to look through some amazing art collections right on your computer.

Keeper of the Dream 2021– For close to 30 years, Oakland University has been celebrating Dr. Martin Luther King’s legacy by honoring amazing students on campus that practice, implement and lead in Dr. King’s teachings on campus and through the community. This community event always delivers with the highlighting of some remarkable students that exemplify Dr. King’s beliefs. 2021 Spring Outdoor Festival
In April 2021, the School of Music Theatre and Dance at Oakland University will be launching for the first time a two week outdoor Spring Performing Arts Festival for the entire Southeast Michigan community. This outdoor stage allows our students to practice their trade safely, while performances will be open to the community to enjoy outdoors, socially distanced in the fresh air. With over 200 student organizations on campus (virtually now), there are a number of ways your company can support our student organizations in accounting, engineering, healthcare, art, music, chemistry, writing, film making, etc. Company experts can be guest speakers, sponsor student organization events, and engage with our amazing students. Graham Health Center
Graham Health Center (GHC) is Oakland University’s on-campus health center. GHC is staffed by nurse practitioners and physician assistants who have extensive education, clinical training and certification in primary care. Services offered by Graham Health Center are available to all current students, faculty, and staff.
Graham Health Center provides primary care services, including physical exams, health maintenance, disease prevention and screening tests. They also diagnose and treat acute illness, minor injuries, and chronic disease, as well as prescribe medications, diagnostic tests, and treatments.
