Coming to the capital from the east side, people can’t help but notice the large new seven-story building taking over the skyline. Exciting times for Mid-Michigan! Over $450 million dollars in new construction. It takes many great people to build a health system for so many. Meet Lynn Griffor, executive director of the McLaren Lansing Foundation.
New to Lansing, Lynn started out at the McLaren Port Huron Foundation in 2015. She worked with that Foundation’s board of trustees to develop and successfully implement a strategic plan that raised over $5 million to support an inpatient tower expansion, as well as the creation of a Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute cancer center. When it comes to supporting McLaren Greater Lansing’s replacement hospital, Griffor announced in June that the Foundation has set a goal of $10 million to be raised during the next three years.
