LANSING, Mich.-The Michigan Land Bank Fast Track Authority is seeking proposals from developers interested in building homes on 14 vacant Woodland Trails Condominiums lots in Owosso.
“Our mission is to help Michigan communities grow by recycling land into productive use,” Michigan Land Bank Director Josh Burgett said. “This is an exciting first step for the city of Owosso and we hope to see these vacant properties turned into more housing units for residents.” Woodland Trails Condominiums project began in 2004 and was partially constructed before being foreclosed on in 2014 due to non-payment of property taxes. The remaining vacant lots were then conveyed to the Michigan Land Bank in 2016.
The Michigan Land Bank is seeking proposals from developers interested in building condominiums on the properties.
Questions from potential bidders must be received via email no later than March 22, at landbank@michigan.gov with the subject “Owosso Condo RFP Questions.”
Bidders must submit the proposal package by noon April 18.
