Net neutrality, the principle that all data on the web should be treated equally and that people not be able to pay for preferential “fast lanes” online, nor should poorer customers be restricted to “slow lanes” is at risk in Europe. What this means is that it could create a situation in which the playing field is not level for startups to compete with the likes of Google and others. What might this mean for the future of connectivity as it relates to small and medium sized businesses?
The European Parliament just dealt a major blow to net neutrality
