Today, we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment, guaranteeing and protecting women’s right to vote. This historic anniversary symbolizes a step forward for democracy and is an opportunity for us to explore the 19th Amendment’s relevance to the issues of equal rights today. 

We spent the last few weeks talking to Michigan’s women leaders and asked them: why you think celebrating this anniversary is important? What relevance does this celebration have today? We created three videos with some of their messages for you and we’re excited to share them with you today!
