Tickets on sale for in-person and virtual events featuring 2021 honorees
GRAND RAPIDS (Sept. 2, 2021) – Michigan Women Forward is honoring two outstanding women at its 2021 Women of Courage and Achievement Award ceremony at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29 in Kalamazoo.
The prestigious ceremony includes in-person and virtual components to honor this year’s Kalamazoo Women of Courage and Achievement, including:
- Pamela Enslen, partner at Warner Norcross + Judd, for her work as an experienced counselor, litigator, mediator, and arbitrator to advocate for those in the community who are silenced and disenfranchised;
- Belinda Tate, executive director for the Kalamazoo Institute of Arts (KIA), for her work as a community bridge builder who embraces the KIA’s vision that the visual arts are for everyone.
This year’s Kalamazoo WomanUp & Celebrate co-chairs are Kathy Beauregard, Denise Crawford and Judy Jolliffe.
“It takes courage to lift others up – and that’s exactly what these extraordinary women do,” said Judy Welch, west Michigan executive director of Michigan Women Forward. “These local leaders are true role models for women and girls across the state, and Michigan Women Forward is honored to celebrate them.”
In-person tickets are $100 and include a seat and lunch at the WomanUp & Celebrate event, as well as a virtual meet-and-greet with one of the Kalamazoo honorees the week following the event. In-person tickets are limited, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Online patron level tickets are $75 and include a link to watch WomanUp & Celebrate LIVE as well as a virtual one-hour meet-and-greet with your choice of one of the Kalamazoo honorees the week following the event. Patron ticket purchasers will also be recognized during the program.
