
Eligible businesses and nonprofits have less than one week left to apply for the Michigan Small Business Restart Program and we don’t want your organization to miss out on this opportunity! Applications are being accepted now through 11:59 p.m. on August 5th.
In an effort to support businesses that were impacted by COVID-19, the State of Michigan allocated $100 million of CARES Act funding to implement this program. Fifteen Economic Development Organizations across the State of Michigan will help assist in distributing these funds locally.
Are you eligible?
- Businesses and nonprofits ARE ELIGIBLE even if they received grant or loan funds from the Payroll Protection Program (PPP), Match on Main Program, Michigan Small Business Relief Program Loans and other similar programs.
- Businesses and nonprofits ARE ELIGIBLE even if they received a Michigan Small Business Relief Grant.
- MANUFACTURERS ARE ELIGIBLE for this program if they have 50 or fewer employees.
- Businesses and nonprofits ARE ELIGIBLE if they can demonstrate they have been impacted by COVID-19 and can demonstrate an income loss.
- Businesses ARE ELIGIBLE if they need working capital to support payroll expenses, rent, mortgage payments, utility expenses or other similar expenses.
