It’s been a tough year for many of us since things began to spiral at a pace never before experienced at the beginning of what was later determined to be a global pandemic. While our internal operations here at the Michigan Manufacturers Association (MMA) were disrupted, our duty to advocate for and inform Michigan manufacturers has never been more critical.

Since the early days of the crisis, our focus has been on helping the manufacturing industry navigate an entirely new global landscape. The MMA has worked tirelessly to provide our members and the industry as a whole with resources to overcome COVID-19 challenges. Working with policymakers and state leaders on behalf of the industry, MMA has achieved a staggering number of pandemic policy changes on behalf of manufacturers.

Together, manufacturers will weather this crisis and there is limitless potential for manufacturing in Michigan. It is manufacturing productivity that will drive our state’s – and the nation’s – economic recovery. A strong, respected and member-focused MMA will be a key to our collective success.
