MMA | Helping Manufacturers in Difficult Times

MMAJohnWalsh Cropped

As we look to the future with hope for growth and an accelerated economic recovery, many in our industry continue to contend with revenue loss, supply chain disruption and workforce challenges. To help members facing difficult times and to support the critical work that you do, the MMA Board of Directors and staff have made the decision to keep member dues investments stable.  Existing members and those looking to join our collective drive for industry success will experience no increase in membership dues for the year.

This decision is in line with MMA’s focus since the earliest days of the COVID-19 crisis to help the manufacturing industry navigate an entirely new landscape. To highlight some of the work our team has done to support the continuity of manufacturing operations:

  • We have worked tirelessly to provide our members and the industry as a whole with resources to overcome pandemic-related challenges.
  • Working with policymakers and state leaders, MMA has achieved a staggering number of pandemic policy changes on behalf of manufacturers.
  • We returned 50 percent of May premiums to members on all MetLife coverages.
  • We helped mobilize the manufacturing sector to produce critical personal protective equipment (PPE).

Manufacturers are leading Michigan’s return to a robust economy with a safe, healthy, confident and economically secure workforce and MMA will continue to be a relentless advocate for Michigan’s largest and most impactful industry.

I look forward to our continued work with the industry and hope you won’t hesitate to reach out to your Association to let us know how we can continue to help you.
