MiLEAP to Showcase Impact of $900,000 Investment in Out-of-School Time Programming for Muskegon Students,

Highlight Continued Support in Governor’s Budget Recommendations

WHAT:

The Michigan Department of Lifelong Education, Advancement, and Potential (MiLEAP) will highlight a $900,000 investment awarded to Muskegon Public Schools through the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) grant program. The event will also celebrate continued investments in Out-of-School Time (OST) programming included in Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s recent budget recommendations. 

Media will have the opportunity to capture b-roll of students participating in after-school enrichment activities, including hands-on STEM programming through a national collaboration with NASA.
