We look forward to working with Mike Duggan and his staff when he is elected Governor,” said Mark Campau, President of the Sterling Heights Police Officers Association.

“Thank you to the Sterling Heights Police Officers Association for endorsing my campaign and for believing in what they see from me. It was a hallmark of my time as Mayor to restore the trust between law enforcement and the communities they serve, and it’s past time for that approach to be taken statewide,” Mike Duggan said.

The Sterling Heights Police Officers Association joins several other law enforcement and public safety unions in supporting Duggan, including the Detroit Firefighters Association, Detroit Police Lieutenants & Sergeants Association, Detroit Police Officers Association, Grand Rapids Police Officers Association, Michigan Professional Fire Fighters Union, Oakland County Deputy Sheriffs Association and Romulus Police Association.
