Chris Holman spoke with Elyse Kopietz, Director of Communications, Marketing & Events, Michigan Manufacturers Association, of Lansing, MI. They discuss manufacturers challenges with securing talent, and then they focus on Information Security which is a top priority for manufacturers.
No matter the size or scope, every company has critical data which could be at risk. As recently as 2015, one-third of all infrastructure cyber attacks occurred in manufacturing – more than double that of the next most-targeted sector. We live in a new era of technology and the threats to your business are unlike any you’ve seen before.
This is why operational cyber security is the key focus to the 2017 MFG Forum on April 25th in Novi at the Suburban Collection Showplace. It’s a must-attend event for every manufacturer.
For more than a decade, the MFG Forum has provided a format to educate manufacturing leaders on emerging issues impacting their business. In 2017, MMA is proud to partner with the National Center for Manufacturing Science (NCMS) to help small, medium and large manufacturers understand the growing importance of Operational Cybersecurity risks.
Attendees will hear experts from:
General Motors
Microsoft
FBI
Department of Homeland Security
Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center, Plymouth
Orbitform, Jackson
Fibre Converters, Constantine
Melling Tool, Jackson
ASK, Lansing
There are more threats to your data, processes and products than ever before – don’t allow your business to be caught unprepared. It can happen to you.
