BENTON HARBOR, Mich.- If you’re looking for a job, you’ll want to join Michigan Works! at their next hiring event where an estimated 25 employers will be meeting with candidates to fill their open positions.
The next event will take place on Thursday, August 20 from 10:00 am- 2:00 pm at the Michigan Works! Service Center, located at 499 West Main Street in Benton Harbor.
The growing list of employers includes: Beacon Specialized Living Services, Lindberg/MPH, ArtiFlex Manufacturing, PurposeCare, Duo Form Plastics, Telamon Corporation, Centria Autism Center, First Student, The Center for Growth and Independence, Arcadia Home Care & Staffing, Corewell Health, Randstadt, and Michigan State Police – Commercial Vehicle Enforcement.
In addition to hosting employers in various industries, the job fair will also host resource providers to help job seekers with education, training, and support services. Attending resource providers includes: Educational Opportunity Center at LMC, Degree Forward, Berrien County Health Department, and Midwest Truck Driving School.
The last Michigan Works! hiring event brought 22 employers and 151 job seekers together, resulting in many on-the-spot interviews and filled positions. In addition to hosting employers in various industries, the job fair will also host resource providers to help job seekers with education, training, and support services. Diana’s Kitchen will also be on site during the event.
Individuals who would like to participate should arrive at the job fair interview ready with an updated resume. Jobseekers are encouraged to pre-register their attendance here and view the growing list of employers who plan to attend.
