Michigan Works! Announces Employer Lineup at April 29 Job Fair

BENTON HARBOR, Mich.- If you’re looking for a job, you’ll want to join Michigan Works! at their next hiring event where an estimated 25 employers will be meeting with candidates to fill their open positions.

 

The next event will take place on Wednesday, April 29 from 10:00 am- 2:00 pm at the Michigan Works! Service Center, located at 499 West Main Street in Benton Harbor.

 

The growing list of employers includes: Avid Health at Home, Centria Autism Center, Colson Group, Corewell Health, Elwood Staffing, Express Employment Professionals, Fifth Third Bank, First Student, Flowers Early Learning, Golden Shore AFC Facility, Lane Automotive, Ralph Moyle Inc., Randstad, Telamon and Twin Cities Area Transportation Authority (TCATA) by Via.

 

In addition to hosting employers in various industries, the job fair will also host resource providers to help job seekers with education, training, and support services. Attending resource providers includes: Berrien County Health Department, Corewell Center for Wellness, Educational Opportunity Center at Lake Michigan College, Midwest Truck Driving School / North Country Electrical Line and Heavy Equipment School, and New Heights CCDA – Laundry Hub.

 

The last Michigan Works! hiring event brought 17 employers and 191 job seekers together, resulting in many on-the-spot interviews and filled positions. In addition to hosting employers in various industries, the job fair will also host resource providers to help job seekers with education, training, and support services. Coy’s Keto Katering will also be on site during the event.

 

Individuals who would like to participate should arrive at the job fair interview ready with an updated resume. Jobseekers are encouraged to pre-register their attendance here.
