Michigan’s unemployment rate has fallen again and has pulled even with the national rate for the first time in 15 years.
Consumers Energy has received conditional approval to begin a 10 megawatt community solar program – Michigan’s first – by the state Public Service Commission.
Each year, Barron’s publication generates a list of the “Barron’s 500,” which seeks to rank the 500 largest publicly traded companies in the United States based on financial metrics. When the annual list is published, there is a natural focus on how Michigan businesses have fared. In the recently published 2015 list, it is encouraging to discover better results for Michigan-headquartered companies.
